It seems like as soon as the holidays are over, I have to start planning for our next celebration - Charlie's birthday party. But I love it and I love how excited he gets. He has gotten increasingly particular and adamant in his requests, but we find a way to make it work for everyone involved. We went with the TMNT theme this year and I have to say I am pretty proud of how it came together.
The Raphael cake was definitely a last minute Pinterest inspired
addition because I was struggling to come up with something
creative and easy to do with the cupcakes.
I was (somewhat) harshly corrected that his arm and leg bands
were supposed to be brown not red, but he was pleased overall.
One random Charlie request: a pizza cookie making station

He wanted a pinata, I didn't want to spend $20+ on
something that would be destroyed in 5 minutes so we
turned to Pinterest again and came up with these
punching boxes. They were a HUGE hit!
