It has been a very rainy, unpredictable spring and summer. Many of our tee ball games were rained out but we made the most of the games we did have and had a great time with new and old friends on the tee ball field. ⚾💙
Life does not always give you what you expect, but we have come to trust that we are always where we are meant to be and with faith, hope, and love we can conquer anything. Most importantly, it really is all about the journey...

Charlie's First Communion
Charlie was a ball of nerves. Our party venue needed to be changed very last minute. The weather was not very May-like. But it was a beautiful, blessed day with our friends and family.

Charlie's Photo Shoot
To avoid any undue stress when Charlie makes his First Communion we decided to do our own private photo shoot a couple weeks beforehand.
Best. Decision. Ever.
We had so much fun with no rushing or multiple cameras to look at or other people in the way. It was a beautiful sunny day, so we were able to go down to the grotto and take some pictures there as well. And we got some great shots. I am so glad we made time to do this.

Easter
We spent our Easter weekend in Saratoga visiting with Nana/GG and Poppop. It was our first trip with Rosabel and she handled it like a champ - aside from puking all over the backseat 5 minutes before we made it to the hotel, despite the $50 I spent on medication for her before we left. (FYI: Nature's Miracle really is a miracle worker if you have stinky messes to clean up!) It was a nice trip with very special memories created.
Handsome boys
They really are the cutest things ever, right?? :-)
